I was born in Newark New Jersey in 1959. Childhood memories include the riots in 1969, cockroaches big enough to ride to school, and cherry blossoms in the spring.
I Host/Produce for a community affairs radio program called Generation Q on WRSU 88.7 fm it's a gay community affairs program with news announcements and rocking tunes by Out Gay Artists. Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm Eastern Time. That's 18:00 till 20:00 GMT and Streams live on-line at www.WRSU.Org.
I'm writing a book about being gay in the Punk scene and why I wasn’t stabbed or clubbed to death by the local Skinheads.
Also a spoken word artist: It's like a stand up comedy routine only I don't care if anybody laughs.
I’m the subject of a documentary about as well as one of many New Jersey characters for a documentary series called Driving Jersey. Just Google Pedro Angel Serrano for more.
